Constipation Cures
July 28th, 2010Regarding contipation, if you’ve been using enemas, laxatives and colonics, here are a few extra lifestyle choices you can establish to increase your bowel regularity.
Water. For long term regularity, drink more water. Our bowel needs adequate amounts of water to form and propel waste through the long colon. Broadly speaking, most of us are chronically dehydrated, which is the basic cause of constipation for most of us. If there is nothing else you do for improved regularity, please drink more water.
Increased intake of fiber. Fiber is the other necessary dietary ingredient that bears on regular colon movements. If 50% of your diet does not consist of fruits, vegetables and whole grains, you could use more fiber. If you step-up your intake of these foods, and drink more water, your bowels will function more regularly.
More exercise. The amount and quality of exercise we get does have a sizable influence on the frequency of movement of our bowel. The large intestine is one long muscle, and if we don’t get sufficient exercise, it will be forced to do a lot more work to generate satisfactory peristalsis (especially if there isn’t plenty of water and fiber in the bowel). Regular physical activity assists the muscles in the colon and accelerates transit time of waste materials moving through the bowel.
Colon detox. An intermittent bowel cleanse is a superb manner to keep colon regularity. Like a colonic irrigation, a colon cleanse assists the removal of excess fecal waste from the colon walls.Find out how to detox your colon.
