Collecting away
When I was in grade school I had a few albums that contained different stamps from different countries in the world. It seems that you would be left out if you didn’t have a collection of some sort. There were stamps from Malaysia, the Philippines, USA, China and each of them came in different prices, ranging from as low as five cents to a few dollars. There were stamps that portrayed nature, important people, or important places. Great collections could actually cost a fortune.
Then came the craze over stickers, there were glossy and furry ones even big and tiny ones. An album would not be considered interesting if it didn’t contain stickers on popular cartoon characters, or superheroes. If you had too many of one kind you can easily trade with someone who would be interested in that sort of sticker in exchange for one that would be a great addition to your collection.
Another great thing to collect would be coins. Coins are collections of great value, the older a coin the higher its value would be. Some collections have been reported to cost millions of dollars in auctions.
There are so many things we can keep a collection of; pictures, cds, posters, autographs, magazines, spoons, forks, clocks, shoes, clothes, pets, the list goes on and on. You just need to collect whatever interests you; in that way you won’t get bored of collecting. It is probably one of the most worthwhile hobbies anyone can do. And some collections prove to be a great investment at the same time.
